• Performance Tuning of SQL and database schema.

• Analyze performance and scalability requirements, perform data security analysis, and translating these to database design specifications.
• Perform DBA activities like Backup, Restore, Migration to newer versions of the RDBMS etc.,

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 6 yrs experience in Oracle 8/8i/9i/10g and Oracle tools
• Experienced in designing databases for a J2EE distributed system.
• Data modeling/database designing using Modeling tools like Erwin.
• Working knowledge of Database Objects (triggers, packages, views, procedures and functions)
• Performance Tuning
• Good understanding of SQL and writing effective SQL commands.
